Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:45 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 2700 block of East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. A burglary occurred at the Oswego Mini Mart. A witness saw a male break a window and steal several packs of cigarettes from inside the store.
- 11:45 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2500 block of East US 30, Warsaw. Julianna Cooper reported the theft of cash and a cell phone.
- 12:29 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2900 block of East Church Street, Warsaw. Kevin Teel reported threatening text messages.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 5:45 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 300 block of West Crystal Flash Road, North Webster. Tera Bumgardner reported the theft of a mobile home title.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 8:21 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 500 block of Turtle Bay Drive, Syracuse. Roger Reichart reported a theft of firearms.
- Midnight Monday, July 23, 400 block of West Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Ashton Smith reported $250 in cash was stolen.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 10 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 3000 block of Inverness Point, Warsaw. Anna Price reported her debit card as stolen.
- 12:17 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 300 block of Indiana Street. A bicycle was found.
- 9:21 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Walmart reported the theft of miscellaneous items valued at $425.96.
- 5:44 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Walmart reported the theft of three televisions.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 11:02 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2400 block of East Winona Avenue, Winona Lake. Colliers Commercial Service reported the theft of scrap coils.
