
Elaine Morrow, 81, Warsaw, passed away at 1:42 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw.
She was born Feb. 14, 1937, in Warsaw, to Sidney Floyd Jordan and Fern Esther (Delaughter) Jordan. On Feb. 28, 1975, she was married to Gary Edward Morrow, who survives.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a 1955 graduate of Silver Lake High School, Silver Lake. She was a member of Pleasant View Bible Church of Warsaw, enjoyed making memory albums and scrapbooking. She always kept busy throughout her life and worked part time at a number of businesses, her most recent job was as a cashier at Walmart. Besides being a great homemaker and mother, she was a friend to many and will be forever loved.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Gary Edward Morrow, Warsaw; four sons: David (Teresa) Barnes, Columbia City; Rodney (Ethel) Barnes, Warsaw; Craig (Ginger) Barnes, Warsaw; Tony (Deb) Barnes, Mentone; two daughters: Angela (Joel) Hidlebaugh, Warsaw; and Jolene (Kelly) Howard, Bourbon. Also surviving are twenty-eight grandchildren; sixteen greatgrandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two sisters: Dorothy Gilroy, and Lenore Clark, both of Davenport, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, July 27, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Mike Hontz. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
