
Debra K. “Deb” Sparbel, 65, Syracuse, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at her home. She was born on Sept. 21, 1952, in Elkhart to Wayne and Delores (Cole) Boggs.
She lived most of her life in the Syracuse and Nappanee area and graduated in 1970 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She was married in 2002 to Duane L. Sparbel who survives. She formerly worked as a teller for various local banks in Goshen and Syracuse, legal secretary in Goshen, Yeager Photography in Syracuse, and formerly owned and operated Fulton Farmer Forum Restaurant.
She was a member of the Nappanee Church of the Brethren and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 223 in Syracuse.
She is survived by her husband; two sons: Christopher (Amy) Bellar, Warsaw; Brandon (Almalyn) Beller, Syracuse; step-son: Brian (Margo) Sparbel, Davenport, Iowa; six grandchildren; and a sister, Karen (Ricky) Beaver, Syracuse.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Brad and Mike Mishler.
No public services will be held at this time. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse is in charge of arrangements.
