Jane A. Hutchison, 66, and a resident of South Whitley County, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018.

She was born Dec. 30, 1951, in Wabash County and spent much of her life there.

She was married to George Hutchison on Dec. 9, 1969. They were together for nearly 50 years before his passing earlier this year.

A giving, caring person, she worked as a nurse’s aide. In her free time, she enjoyed reading romance novels and sewing.

In addition to her husband, Jane Hutchison is proceeded in death by her parents, Arden and Bonnie Metzger. She is survived by her son, Shawne Hutchison of South Whitley; daughter, Courtney Taylor, and her husband Ben, of Atwood; two grandchildren, Alivia and Blake Taylor.
