Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

2:43 p.m. Friday, July 20, North Rainbow Drive and West CR 250N, Warsaw. Drivers: Sally A. Knitter, 41, Marie Court, Monrovia; and Anne M. Stoneburner, 34, Franklin Street, Mentone. Knitter advised she was making a left turn onto Rainbow Road and that, due to heavy rain, she did not see Stoneburner’s vehicle sitting at the intersection. Knitter’s vehicle struck Stoneburner’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000. 

6:13 a.m. Friday, July 20, Lake City Highway, north of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Drivers: Micaela M. Cacahua, 19, McIntosh Lane, Goshen; and Timothy W. Yoder, 61, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Cacahua’s vehicle rear-ended Yoder’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

4:39 p.m. Friday, July 20, SR 15, south of East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Cynthia E. Love, 18, Brookview Drive, Warsaw; and Angela L. Burkhart, 58, SR 25, Warsaw. Love’s vehicle rear-ended Burkhart’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. 

11:29 a.m. Thursday, July 19, Lake City Highway, west of East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ruth K. Stabler, 38, Bakers Mill Court, Leo; and Hallie A. Metze, 42, 7th Street, Winona Lake. Stabler’s vehicle rear-ended Metze’s vehicle. Kelvin J. Wadkins, 43, 7th Street, Winona Lake, a passenger in Metze’s vehicle, was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for complaint of neck pain. Damage up to $25,000.
