William K. Williams
William “Billy” K. Williams, 78, Akron, passed at 4:10 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
He was born on May 18, 1940 in Stirrat, W. Va. to William and Nannie (Johnson) Williams.
He married on Dec. 15, 1964 in Akron, to Betty Ann Tuza, she survives.
He worked for different factories over the years and retired from Chamberlain Products of Akron.
He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed watching all sports on television. He loved and relished his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed working and tinkering on cars and mowers in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife; a son, John (Jennifer) Williams, Akron; daughters: Sue (Chris) Moyer, North Machester; Rhonda Conwell (companion Shawn Lortie), Churubusco; Annie (Cory) Woodcox, Akron; Chrissy (Ronnie) Butler, Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; three brothers; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. The service will follow at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 18. Burial will take place at Akron Cemetery.
