Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:57 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, North Detroit Street and East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Savannah Tran, 14, Brallier Road, Pierceton; and Corey Culp, 48, Shaffer Road, Warsaw. Culp’s vehicle was stopped at the intersection when the vehicle was rear-ended by Tran’s vehicle. Tran, who did not possess a driver’s license due to being underaged, did not remember the accident. Tran, Tran’s backseat passenger Alejandro Garcia, 15, Warsaw and an unnamed passenger of Tran’s vehicle were transported for injuries. Damages up to $25,000.

4:38 p.m. Monday, July 9, East US 30 and Old US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Tracy Hansen, 46, Hunters Ridge, Warsaw; and Andrew Oehrtman, 31, Briarcliff Drive, Napoleon, Ohio. A vehicle in front of Oehrtman slowed down abruptly, causing Oehrtman to also slow down his vehicle abruptly. Hansen’s vehicle rear-ended Oehrtman’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
