Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:

2:58 p.m. Sunday, July 8, North Long Drive, south of CR 1400N, Syracuse. Drivers: Teal H. Chastain, 33, Brubaker Street, Warsaw; and Kayla J. Fletcher, 18, CR 133, Syracuse. Chastain reported she was pulling out of a driveway and did not see Fletcher’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. 

6:32 a.m. Friday, July 6, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Jamie R. Schmucker, 50, North Kern Road, Syracuse. Schmucker advised that she was at the Marathon Gas Station parked at a gas pump and had prepaid for fuel. As she pulled away from the gas pump, she realized she had forgotten to pump the fuel. Schmucker stated she drove back around and tried to pull back up to the pump when her vehicle struck the front of a car parked at the other pump. Damage up to $2,500.
