WARSAW — Lake City Bank has received reports of fraud on debit cards.
Mary S. Horan, vice president, director of marketing and public relations, was contacted and stated they have discovered the fraudulent activity has been isolated to two branches — Warsaw North, located on SR 15 and the Columbia City branch. Affected customers are being reimbursed.
“We are in the process of notifying customers who may have been exposed to the fraud,” Horan stated. She encouraged customers who have experienced fraud to accounts from these locations or others to contact Lake City Bank or contact the One Call Center at (888) 522-2265.
The fraudulent activities may have occurred in early June at the Warsaw North location, and late May at the Columbia City location.
There have been reports approximately 12 individuals from the Milford area have been to the Lake City branch location in Milford to report fraudulent activities on their accounts. However, Milford Police, nor Lake City Bank have received any reports of fraudulent activities in the Milford area.
