DuWayne E. Hochstetler, 75, of Nappanee, died at 9:13 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, following an extended illness. He was born Nov. 14, 1942, in Three Rivers, Mich. to Edward H. and Sylvia L. (Yoder) Hochstetler.
DuWayne was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are 11 brothers and sisters: Wilma (Raymond) Borkholder, Kenneth (Jolene) Hochstetler, Warren Scott (Rachel) Hochstetler, all of Nappanee, Frances (Merlin) Schwartz, Etna Green, Larry (Mary Alice) Hochstetler, LaGrange, Dennis (Renee) Hochstetler, Port Charlotte, Fla., Allen (Sharon) Hochstetler, Bourbon, Lavon Hochstetler, Plymouth, Phil (Kathryn) Hochstetler, Dawn (Earl) Miller, both of New Paris, Teresa (Brian) Emmons, Goshen; and brother-in-law, Ezra L. Miller, New Paris. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Louise E. Miller, brother, Norman R. Hochstetler, and sister-in-law, Clara Hochstetler.

Family and friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1, and all day Monday, July 2,  at the Scott Hochstetler residence, 70932 CR 3, Nappanee. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 3 at the Lavern Chupp residence, 71052 CR 3, Nappanee. Bishop Lonnie Miller and the Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate. Burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.
