
Lee Merle Leffert, 46, Culver, died at 11:02 p.m., June 22, 2018, at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, following a very sudden illness.
On Aug. 6, 1971, in Rochester, he was born to Lynn M. Leffert and Cheri (Davis) Butts. He has lived in Culver since 1999 after moving back from Oklahoma. Leffert grew up in the Argos community.
On April 4, 1998, in Oklahoma, he married Carol Lorraine Calhoun and together have shared the past 20 years with each other.
He was the Manager of Ceres Solutions, Rochester.
Lee Leffert was involved in 4-H and Argos FFA when he was younger. He was a member of the Sons of the Legion, Argos.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Leffert, Culver; daughter: Katelynn Penny, Plymouth; son, Trevor Calhoun, Culver; grandson, Budson Calhoun; mother, Cheri (William) Butts, Elkhart; brothers: Christopher Leffert, Logansport; Nicholas Leffert, Wichita Falls, Texas; sister, Leslie (Robert) Bloss, Elkhart; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Sara Calhoun.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, father, Lynn Leffert
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m., Thursday June 28, at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday June 29, at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
