Items confiscated by police after a search warrant was executed at a home in Rome City. Five people were arrested.

ROME CITY — The culmination of a six-month investigation involving narcotics and stolen items culminated Wednesday, June 27, when a search warrant was executed and arrests made.

A search warrant was executed on Park Drive, Rome City. Arrested at the residence at the time of the search and charges were:

Glen Jacobs, 42, Rome City, booked for dealing methamphetamine

Wade S. Holley, 51, Rome City; Norma J. Barger, 54, Rome City; Nathan R. Harter, 29, Rome City; and John R. Collins, 44, Wolcottville, all booked for visiting a common nuisance.

The six-month investigation was conducted by the Rome City Marshal’s office, Noble County Sheriff’s Department, Noble County Prosecutor’s Office, DEA and other federal agencies.

Additional state and/or federal charges may be pending for some or all of the suspects in the case at a later date.
