SYRACUSE — A mattress sale fundraiser, hosted by the Wawasee Warrior Marching Band, was a success.

The success of the event was realized Tuesday evening with the presentation of a $4,250 check from Custom Fundraising Solutions, Fort Wayne. Dave Barnwell, owner of CFS, presented the check to band officials prior to the start of the evening’s band practice.

The sale was held June 9.
