Multi-Purpose Building Near Webster Approved By BZA
WARSAW — Michael Mettham’s two petitions were approved by the Kosciusko County Board of Zoning Appeals during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, June 12, in Warsaw.
Mettham asked for an exception to allow the construction of a building 72 feet by 120 feet in size to be used for sports and canine performance events on property zoned commercial. The property is located on the east side of SR 13, south of CR 500N in Tippecanoe Township and south of North Webster.
Mettham was also granted a variance to allow two uses, animal kennel and multi-purpose, on one tract of ground. Matt Sandy, assistant planning director for the county, noted Mettham said he plans to have indoor turf installed and would probably rent the building for sporting events such as soccer.
There were no remonstrators against either petition.
Other agenda items included:
• Duane Springer was granted an exception to allow an existing residence accessory addition, a screened porch, to remain.
