KOSCIUSKO — Loss of habitat and establishing a garden plot with native plants, are topics the Soil and Water Conservation District will address at a June 21 workshop. The workshop will include a plant give-away to participants to establish a small pollinator plot.

SWCD will offer pollinator 6-packs that will cover a 10 square foot plot, to approximately 20 households.  Plants will be Lavender Hyssop, Butterfly Milkweed, Pale Purple Coneflower, Big-Leaf Aster, Little Bluestem and Indian Grass. SWCD will also provide a workshop and signs.

The workshop will take place at the SWCD office, 217 E Bell Drive, Warsaw, on June 21 during National Pollinator Week. It will run from 6 to 8 p.m.  Space will be very limited. To reserve a spot, contact the SWCD office at (574) 267-7445 x3 or email [email protected].
