Elmer Ellsworth Williams, 74, Mentone, passed away at 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born Nov. 7, 1943, in Alexandria to Virgil G. and Cora Berniece (McClish) Williams.

He graduated in 1961 from Alexandria High School, attended Indiana Business College in Anderson and took classes at Ball State University in Muncie. He worked at Gen Corp in Marion as a millwright and machine repairman. He grew up in Alexandria, lived in Marion until 1984, and moved to Mentone in 2010.

He is survived by his son: Michael Joseph (Alicia) Williams, Bloomington; grandson: Matthew Williams, Bloomington; granddaughter: Brooke Carpenter, Carmel; sister, Linda (Robert) Pardue, Alexandria; sister-in-law, Joyce Williams, Alexandria.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter Williams.

No public services will be held. Cremations Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warasaw, is in charge of arrangements.
