Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

11:54 a.m. Monday, June 11, East CR 1000N and North SR 13, Syracuse. Drivers: Marion E. Beezley, 38, South April Drive, Cromwell; and Ryan B. Cramer, 26, EMS B6A Lane, Leesburg. Cramer was stopped on CR 1000N. Beezley was turning left when a trailer disconnected from the vehicle and struck Cramer’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. 

11:09 p.m. Sunday, June 10, East US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Devon M. Poe, 53, South Woodland Lane, Warsaw; and Kayla M. Horn, 29, Cornwallis Drive, Fort Wayne. The vehicles collided as Poe was backing up near a fuel pump and Horn was pulling up to the pump. Damage up to $5,000. 

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:11 p.m. Friday, June 8, SR 13, north of CR 200S, Pierceton. Drivers: Brandi N. Hunter, 33, East South Barbee Drive, Pierceton; and Tonilee J. Vining, 62, South CR 700W, Mentone. Hunter’s vehicle rear-ended Vining’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000. 

5:22 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, SR 13, south of CR 650S, Pierceton. Driver: Kristin James, 37, Clear Creek Trail, North Manchester. James advised that she was driving south on SR13 behind another vehicle. According to James, the driver of the other vehicle slammed on their brakes and swerved to the right and then to the left. James stated she swerved to the right, leaving the roadway, in an attempt to avoid a collision with the van. Her vehicle struck a culvert, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. James’ vehicle went up an embankment and into a field. Damage up to $5,000. 

Silver Lake

Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

2:26 a.m. Monday, June 11, West SR 14, west of South CR 850W, Silver Lake. Driver: Rickie A. Van Cleave, 63, North Mishawaka Street, Akron. Van Cleave’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $10,000. 

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:04 a.m. Saturday, June 9, East Palm Drive, east of South Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Michael A. Tiltges, 66, North Turkey Creek Road, Syracuse; and Cheryl A. Nussbaum, 53, Park Ridge Road, Bloomington. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $1,000.
