Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Police Department investigated the following accidents:

12:54 p.m. Friday, June 8, SR 19 and CR 1000S, Akron. Drivers: Harry Caudill, 35, CR 1150S, Silver Lake; and Madison Henninger, 20, CR 550W, Warsaw. Henninger realized she needed to turn and abruptly applied the brakes, which caused Caudill’s vehicle to rear-end her vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.

7:16 a.m. Friday, June 8, East Pierceton Road and East Washington Road, Pierceton. Driver: Deborah Drazich, 49, La Vista Drive, Warsaw. Drazich’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Drazich was transported to a hospital to check for possible injuries. Damages up to $25,000.

Silver Lake

Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:40 p.m. Friday, June 8, 606 N. Jefferson St., Silver Lake. Driver: Myah Kneller, 18, CR 950S, Silver Lake. Kneller struck a pole while backing out of a parking space. Damages up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:43 p.m. Friday, June 8, North Detroit Street and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Lauren Sasso, 20, Bay Drive, Warsaw; and Jose Cruz, 67, Oldfather Street, Warsaw. Sasso passed Cruz’s vehicle but did not make a wide enough turn, striking Cruz’s vehicle. Sasso did not realize she was involved in an accident and continued driving to her place of work. Damages up to $2,500.

1:19 p.m. Friday, June 8, 3581 SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Michael Gamble, 47, Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Gamble backed up his vehicle in a parking lot and struck a parked vehicle owned by Eddie Wolf, Warsaw. Damages up to $2,500.
