BREAKING — Five-Vehicle Accident Injures Four On US 30

Five cars were involved in an accident on US 30 this afternoon.

WARSAW — A five-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of us 30 and CR 150W, Warsaw, shortly after 2 p.m. today, May 31.

According to officers on the scene, a Chevrolet Suburban was driving eastbound toward the intersection when the vehicle suffered from brake failure. This caused the Suburban to rear-end three vehicles that were stopped at the stoplight and collide with a Transit van before coming to rest in the median

At least four people were transported for injuries, including one patient being transported by Parkview Samaritan.

Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, Tri-County Ambulance and Indiana State Police responded to the scene.

Traffic on US 30 was backed up while the scene was cleared.
