ATWOOD — Firefighters and emergency medical personnel from multiple agencies responded to a barn fire in the 4000 block of CR 800W late Wednesday morning, May 30.

The Atwood Fire Department was assisted by multiple agencies, including Etna Green, Bourbon and Nappanee and required multiple tankers and water bladders at the scene to battle the blaze.

The firefighters were still engaging the fire of the tan metal pole building before noon.
