WARSAW — Warsaw Community Public Library will host the following programs in June for teens and adults.

  • A teen songwriting contest takes place Friday, June 1, through Saturday, June 30.
  • Chess Club meets at 10 a.m. Saturdays.
  • Cookbook Club meets at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, to share gluten-free recipes.
  • Friends of the Library meet at 1 p.m. Monday, June 4.
  • Beatles Scholar Aaron Krerowicz will present “The Beatles: Band of the Sixties” at 6 p.m. Monday, June 4. Register.
  • Sally Reuter returns at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, to lead participants in making a paper and wool flower pot. Register.
  • Drop-in Zone begins at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, for teens. Adult Drop-in Zone follows at 5:45 p.m.
  • The Lake City Piecemakers quilt club meets at 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 8.
  • The Writers Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 11, to share their writings on “Weddings,” “Father’s Day,” “Summer” and “Vacation/Off School.”
  • Learn to do Magic Like a Rock Star takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 12. Register.
  • Computer clinics take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, and at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, to answer technology-related questions.
  • Terry DuPont returns with retirement programs at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, and 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 16.
  • Pokémon Club meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 13.
  • Sheila Ronk hosts a sewing station at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, to answer sewing questions.
  • Board Game Club meets at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, for games of strategy.
  • Paint with Carl Mosher takes place at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 18. Register.
  • Teens can learn basic guitar playing at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 19.
  • David Kolbe presents a travelogue on the Czech Republic at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 19.
  • Teens can make melty perler bead crafts at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21.
  • Kokomo-area author Richard Rose will sign copies of his latest murder mystery novel at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23.
  • Sue Delagrange presents “Eating for a Healthy Heart” at 1 p.m. Monday, June 25.
  • Teens can play Minecraft at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 26.
  • Teens are invited to a Smash Bros. tournament beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30.
  • A mini book sale hosted by the Friends of the Library takes place 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 30.
