WARSAW — Lutheran EMS Kosciusko will be offering a drive-thru car seat clinic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Monteith’s Best-One Tire & Auto Care, 1606 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. Certified car seat technicians will be working with families to help ensure that car seats are safely and effectively installed. Parents or guardians who have children in car seats or booster seats are encouraged to attend.

The first 15 children present will receive a free child’s ticket to the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus in Pierceton courtesy of Pro Wake Watersports.

Individuals participating in this event who received 32 hours of education and training to become a certified car seat technician include Miles Waters, Drew Shilling, Jonna Stamm, Alicia Elder, Fred Parrett and Joe Fretz.

The goal of the event is to make sure every child is correctly restrained in a car seat for their safety during regular transport or when involved in a collision. Through a complete inspection, individuals can be provided with peace of mind in knowing that their child is properly restrained. For more information, call (574) 269-1975, ext. 6.
