Claire A. Amor, 91, Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, May 9, in the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson.

She was born Nov. 14, 1926 in Marshall County, to the late Henry Joseph and Anna Louise (Walter) Samuelson.

She graduated from West High School in West Township, Plymouth.

On Aug. 25, 1946, she married Glenn Delos Amor; he preceded her in death on May 15, 2013.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and was very active with different church committees. She also loved doing crewel embroidering.

Surviving are her three children: Gregory John (Nancy) Amor, Huntington, and their children: Jonathan, Natalie; and Michelle Gwen Louise Amor, Plymouth; and her children: Angela and Kristen; Gene Arnold (Doreen) Amor, South Bend, and their children: Matthew, Geoffrey and Rachael. Great-grandchildren include: Victoria, Madelynn, Kole, Tyler, Samantha, Colton and Kamdon.

She is also survived by a sister: Berniece Umbaugh, Donaldson; and a brother: John (Ruth) Samuelson, Plymouth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother-in-law: Dick Umbaugh, son-in-law: Rich Crum, and a baby brother: Ralph Samuelson.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan St., Plymouth, Indiana 46563. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Life Celebrant Jim Smart officiating.

Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
