Betty Louise Henry, 94, Warsaw, passed away at 8:55 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw.

She was born on Aug. 15, 1923, in Deposit, N.Y. to John Melvin Galleher and Margaret Pearl (Emig) Galleher.  On Jan. 10, 1948, she was married to Kenneth Merle Henry, who passed away in May 1999.

Mrs. Henry was a resident of Kosciusko County, for the past 30 years. She graduated from high school in 1941 in Huntington. For a number of years she worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne, then later at Magnatek in Huntington until her retirement after 20 years of service. She loved the outdoors, bird watching, and drawing.  She especially loved her grandchildren who were near and dear to her. She lived a full 94 years throughout her life and will be dearly missed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her five daughters: Jan (Bill) Achenbach, Rochester; Sandie (John) Ruiz, Butler; Marije (Kyle) Myers, Huntington; Jill Henry, North Webster; Mary Ann (Tim) Collins, North Webster. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren:  Shawn Pletch, Aaron Foster, Aimee Moore, Scott Myers, Tiffany Maher, Danelle Aspinwall, Cory Piper, T.J. Collins, Jack Collins; and several step-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.

The family will have a special gathering to celebrate Mrs. Henry’s life at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
