KOSCIUSKO — A male juvenile was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital after a one vehicle collision.

At approximately 8:36 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a report of a child that was struck by a vehicle near the address of 488 Clinic Court, Warsaw.

The crash involved a 2016 Hyundai Sonata which struck a 5-year-old boy who was biking across the roadway. The Hyundai Sonata was operated by Tanya L. Fruchey, 48, Warsaw.

The 5-year-old boy was identified as Aidan Camp of Warsaw. Fruchey was driving north through the main driveway of Eastgate Apartments, heading toward the entrance of the complex. Camp suddenly entered the roadway on a bicycle, and Fruchey was unable to avoid striking Camp.

Camp sustained a laceration to his head and abrasions on his back. He was transported by ambulance to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Fruchey’s vehicle sustained no damage.
