Mayfre R. Potter, 78, Rochester, passed away peacefully on May 4,2018, surrounded by her family.

Potter was born to William T. and Paralee (Tomlin) Fletcher on Aug. 8, 1939, in Jackson, Ky. She was married and had five children in Kentucky. After her divorce, she eventually followed her sons to Indiana.

She enjoyed playing video games with her family, playing solitaire, and listening to blue grass gospel music. “Granny” will surely be missed by her family, but never forgotten. Her love will always be with them.

Mayfre POtter is survived by her sons: John and Roger (Lucinda) Potter, Monterey; and Dwayne (Karen)
Potter, Plymouth; brothers: Everret Fletcher, Jackson, Ky.; and Frank Fletcher, Commerce, Mich.; sisters: Julie Bryant, Campton, Ky.; Maxine Young, Augusta, Ga.; and Cloma Owsley, Hudson, Fla.; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Thomas Potter, daughter Teresa Neace, brother Willard Fletcher, and sister Bonnie Watkins.

Memorial contributions may be given in Granny’s memory to Riley Children’s Hospital.
