KOSCIUSKO — The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana has declared a wind advisory for Kosciusko County. The advisory will be in effect until 6 p.m. tonight, May 4.

Expect gusts up to 45 mph. Peak winds from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. Wind speeds should begin to diminish earlier this afternoon.

Hazardous driving for high profile vehicles is expected. Unsecured light outdoor objects will be blown around. Scattered tree damage and power outages are also possible. Use extra caution.

Other counties under the advisory include Marshall, Whitley, Allen, Elkhart, Noble and Fulton counties.
