Warsaw

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

2:37 p.m. Thursday, May 3, West Market and South Washington streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Rachel Eppenbaugh, 33, Winona Avenue, Warsaw; Michelle Dials, 47, Oak Street, Warsaw; and Betty Campbell, 71, Old Road 30, Warsaw. Eppenbaugh was stopped at the intersection waiting for traffic to clear. A semi was blocking Eppenbaugh’s view and motioned for her to drive through the intersection. As Eppenbaugh was driving through the intersection, her vehicle was struck by Dials’ vehicle. The collision caused Eppenbaugh’s vehicle to spin around and collide with Campbell’s vehicle. Dials’ vehicle collided with an unattended parked car registered to Kendra Foote, Winona Lake. Dials’ was transported to the hospital by a family member for pain throughout her body and Eppenbaugh was transported to the hospital by EMS and was diagnosed with a possible concussion. Damages up to $50,000. 

1:58 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 3418 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Marc Powell, 43, Old Road 30, Warsaw; and Sarah Frame, 37, Nancy Drive, Warsaw. Powell leaned over in his car to pick up his wallet. When he looked up, Frame’s vehicle was directly in front of his vehicle and Powell was unable to avoid the collision. Damages up to $5,000.
