Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO — The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Kosciusko, Noble and Whitley counties until 9:30 p.m. tonight, May 2.

At 8:50 p.m. severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Nappanee to near Warsaw, moving east at 35 mph.

The storm has potential to produce 60 mph wind gusts. Expect damage to roofs, siding and trees. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.

Locations impacted include Warsaw, Columbia City, Nappanee, Winona Lake, Ligonier, Syracuse, Milford, North Webster, Pierceton, Etna, Leesburg, Cromwell, Claypool, Larwill, Burket, Big Barbee Lake, Ridinger Lake, Monoquet, Hoffman Lake and Atwood.
