WINONA LAKE — Triton’s boys golf team picked up a pair of wins and one loss to a tough Fort Wayne Canterbury team at Stonehenge Wednesday.

The Trojans shot 177, three strokes ahead of Plymouth’s 180 and well ahead of Goshen’s 204, while Canterbury topped the pile with a 157.

Chase Butler led the Trojans a second straight meet with a score of 42, Beau Hepler shot 43, and Isaac Wall carded 44 in a consistent one-two-three. Keegan Westafer turned in a 48, and Brock Watkins’ 51 was Triton’s fifth score.

Canterbury was paced by an even-par 35 from Carson Stoler and Camden Cobler’s 39. Chapman Yoder led Plymouth with a 41, and Peyton Cripe’s 46 paced Goshen.

Triton moved to 12-2 with the results.

Triton’s JV was tops in its four-way, meanwhile, with a 189. Plymouth’s JV carded 206, Canterbury shot 223, and Goshen tallied a 238.
