WARSAW — A Noblesville woman was arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs and paraphernalia.

Danielle Marie Bolinger, 23, 19355 Wagon Trail Drive, Noblesville, is being charged with possession of a syringe, a level 6 felony, and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor. 

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Wednesday, April 18, a Warsaw city police officer observed a 2013 black Ford Fusion with a burned-out license plate light fail to properly signal a lane change. The officer also observed multiple white paper and plastic objects being thrown out the passenger side window of the vehicle. 

As the officer initiated a traffic stop and approached the vehicle, he detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The operator was identified as Bolinger. A male passenger was also in the vehicle. 

As a result of the marijuana odor coming from the vehicle, police conducted a search. On the passenger side floor board where the male was sitting, officers located a set of digital scales with a white powder residue and a glass smoking device. Also located on the passenger side was a white crystal-like substance that appeared to have been spilled. The substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine. 

On the driver’s side, officers located a plastic bag of used syringes and a cut straw between the seat and the door. The objects thrown from the vehicle were retrieved by officers and identified as a cigarette pack containing marijuana and a small baggie containing a substance which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. 

Bolinger was booked at the Kosciusko County Jail on Wednesday, April 18, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
