Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

6:33 a.m. Monday, April 23, South SR 25, east of South Bruner Road, Warsaw. Driver: Mitchell B. Hussong, 22, Lakeview Drive, Winona Lake. Hussong was traveling west on SR 25 when a deer ran into the road. Hussong’s vehicle struck the deer. Damage up to $5,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:29 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 1001 W. Brooklyn St. Driver: Steffanie M. Stookey, 40, North Sawgrass Lane, Leesburg. Stookey was attempting to parallel park her vehicle when she hit a parked and unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

12:07 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2211 East Center St. Driver: Bing J. Feng, 82, East East Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Feng was driving through a parking lot when he struck a parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

9:48 a.m. Saturday, April 21, North Park Ave., north of Lyon St. Driver: Rose E. Long, 56, East Winona Ave., Warsaw. Long was traveling south on North Park Ave. when she approached a parked and unoccupied vehicle. Long’s vehicle struck the rear end of the vehicle, which caused that vehicle to rear-end a parked and unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
