WARSAW — Carson’s is closing all of its stores nationwide, which means Warsaw will lose its location.

Bon-Ton Stores, Carson’s parent store, failed to secure a bidder to keep the stores open. As a result, the company’s assets have been sold to two liquidation firms. All Carson’s stores will close after 160 years of business.

The Warsaw Carson’s is located at 2856 Frontage Road. Liquidations sales are expected to start immediately with the store being officially closed by Aug. 31.

“We are incredibly grateful to all of our associates for their dedicated service to Bon-Ton and to our millions of loyal customers who we have had the pleasure to serve as their hometown store for more than 160 years,” said Bill Tracy, president and CEO in an official statement.

Other local locations closing include Elkhart, Warsaw, Benton Harbor and Michigan City.
