North Webster Has New Park Board Member
NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Town Council learned a new park board member has volunteered during its Tuesday, April 17, meeting at North Webster Community Center. Tammy Waliczek, park board secretary, announced Steve Kemp is the newest member of that board. The group will meet soon to elect officers.
Council agreed with Clerk-Treasurer Betsy Luce she needs to start investigating new software as the current one in use will be obsolete as of January 2019.
The utilities department reported a new hire had been made and the lab and plant are looking good and running well. Utility Manager Mike Noe will meet with members of the Webster Lake Conservation Association about the storm drains in the near future, Council President Jon Sroufe announced.
Police Chief Greg Church noted 250 calls of service during March with 61 being traffic related. Officers worked 754.25 hours, drove 4,503 miles and used 357.8 gallons of fuel.
The next meeting of the council will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, in the North Webster Community Center, 301 N. Main St.
