Bruce L. “Larry” Vanlaningham, 68, Milford, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. He was born on March 15, 1950, in Warsaw to Bruce R. and Betty L. (Campbell) Vanlaningham.

He was a lifetime Milford resident, graduated in 1968 from Milford High School, and served in the United States Army. He was married Aug. 10, 1973 in Milford to Cathy A. Barth, who survives. He retired in 1996 from Barth Manufacturing in Milford as Production Manager after 29 years.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Vanlaningham, Milford; son, Michael Vanlaningham, Plymouth; mother, Betty (Ernest) Farnsworth, Vernal, Utah; two sisters: Connie (Melvin) Jordan, Milford; Roxie Russell, Vernal, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 5 p.m.Saturday in the funeral home. Private family burial will take place at Milford Cemetery at a later date.
