Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:18 a.m. Tuesday, North SR 15 north of West CR 1350N, Milford. Driver: Dustin J. Cloud, 29, South Kinder Avenue, Syracuse. Cloud told police he was driving his vehicle southbound on SR 15 when his vehicle hit a patch of ice on an overpass and slid, striking the guard rail. Damage up to $5,000.

3:37 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, North SR 15, north of West CR 1350N, Milford. Driver: Randall A. Platz, 60, West Forrest Avenue, Warsaw. Platz told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on SR 15 when his vehicle hit a patch of ice on the top of the bridge. Platz said he lost control of his vehicle, which slid across SR 15 and struck a guard rail head on. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:50 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, West Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Henry J. Gutowski, 64, East Main Street, Warsaw, Angela R. Rodriguez, 46, South Blue Spruce Road, Warsaw. According to police viewing surveillance footage of the accident, Gutowski began backing his vehicle out of a parking space in the Owens Supermarket parking lot when the vehicle driven by Rodriguez becomes visible and stops, then being struck by Gutowski’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

10:03 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, West Main Street and North Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Samuel A. Anderson, 73, South CR 675W, Warsaw, Cecil Ward, 77, West CR 200S, Warsaw. Anderson told police he was backing his vehicle out of a parking space and backed into the vehicle driven by Ward, which was eastbound on Main Street. Damage up to $2,500.
