Carol A. Price, 75, Wakarusa, passed away at 12:44 a.m. on Saturday, April, 14, 2018, at Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier. She was born Oct. 5, 1942, in Goshen to James R. and Georgia E. (Elliot) Price.

She grew up in South Bend, attended Central High School in South Bend, and lived most of her life in Wakarusa before moving to the Ligonier area in 2017. She retired in 2005 from Johnson Controls in Goshen as a machinist after 32 years.

She formerly attended the Holy Family Catholic Church in South Bend.

She is survived by her son, Matthew (Patricia) Price, Syracuse; three grandchildren; three sisters: Jean Keller, Monterey; Joan Smith, Bloomington; Corrine Czech, Plymouth; brother, James (Karen) Price, Columbia City. She was preceded by her parents and a sister, Sharon Price.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral Services will follow at 7 p.m. of Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Stan Owen of the Syracuse Church of God officiating. Graveside services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 20, at the Union Township Cemetery in Coesse.
