WARSAW — During a very brief meeting held last night, April 9, the Warsaw Plan Commission approved a re-plat for VIA Credit Union.

The VIA Credit Union sits at Northpark Plaza lots three and four. Both of these lots are platted separately with a utility easement between the two. VIA Credit Union would like to demolish the seperate drive-thru and add it to the existing office building. This wasn’t possible with the easement in between the two plats, so a re-plat was necessary.

City Planner Jeremy Skinner explained that the lot meets all development standards and gave a favorable recommendation to the board.

Architect Tyler Haines was present at the meeting on behalf of VIA Credit Union. He explained that the only utilities that sit in the utility easement are those used by VIA Credit Union. No other properties would be impacted by this re-plat.

Both the preliminary and final re-plat of the property was approved.
