Phyllis A. McGuire, 75, Warsaw, passed away at 8:53 a.m.,Thursday April 5, 2018, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. She was born on June 15, 1942, in Plymouth to Arnold and Evelyn (Falkner) Singrey.

Phyllis graduated Plymouth High School in 1960.

In 1966 she met her loving husband and was united in marriage to Norman McGuire on May 20, 1967, in Chicago. They celebrated their 50 years together in May 2017.

She was a homemaker and a stay at home mom who loved spending time with her grandchildren, couponing, planting flowers, bird watching, riding in her golf cart and camping at Pike Lake for 30 years.

Mrs. Mcguire is survived by her husband, Norman McGuire, Warsaw; her children: Laurie (Jim) Dorman, Warsaw; Mike (spouse Carrie) McGuire, Milford; Jeff (spouse Heather) McGuire, Warsaw; and Kevin (spouse Teresa) McGuire, New Paris. Grandchildren: Nick and Ethan Dorman, Leann and Logan McGuire, Hollie (spouse Landon) Hawks, Jodie Irwin, Allie, Ashton, Kate, Amanda McGuire. Great Grandchild Beckham S. Hawks. Siblings: Lowell (spouse Jean) Singrey, Greentown; Lee (spouse Patsy) Singrey, Inwood; Margie (spouse Steve) Snyder, Bremen, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Evelyn Singrey and a brother, Allen Singrey.

Visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m., Sunday, April 8, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 9, at the Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jeff Pfeiffer will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

The family is requesting that the memorial contribution be made to the National Kidney Foundation Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016.
