Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

2:12 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, North CR 950W, near West CR 250N, Etna Green. Driver: unknown. An unoccupied vehicle was located in the area and was crashed into a tree. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:

12:57 p.m. Thursday, April 5, West CR 300N, Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua R. Mort, 21, West Tower Street, Pierceton, and Joann A. Cotton, 63, West Highland Court, Warsaw. Mort advised he was backing his vehicle out of a parking space at Aspen Dental and did not see Cotton’s vehicle behind him. Cotton advised she was traveling southbound through the parking lot and observed Mort’s vehicle backing out of a parking space so she honked her horn in an attempt to avoid a collision. Mort’s vehicle struck the front driver’s side bumper of Cotton’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
