Robie Bradley, 89, Liberty Mills, passed away in his home at 7:37 a.m., April 2, 2018. One of seven children, Mr. Bradley was born on March 26, 1929, in Prater Fork, Floyd County, Ky. to Richard and Viola (Howard) Bradley.

Before joining the U.S Army in 1955, he worked for the Nickle Plate Railroad. After spending seven years in the Army and Army Reserves, he went back to work for the railroad. He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and New York Centeral Railroad. Altogether he spent 20+ years working for the railroad companies. During his time of relaxation, he enjoyed watching old Westerns, but his passion and love was for his family.

The loving memory of Robie Bradley will be forever remembered by his surviving sons: Mike (Laura) Bradley, Liberty Mills; and Ernie (Janice) Bradley, North Manchester; two daughters: Linda (Ollie) Marshall, Claypool; and Yvonne (Alan) Lantz, Bluffton; two brothers: Hub (Sharon) Bradley, North Manchester; and Norval Bradley, Calif.; twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Viola Bradley; one daughter, Patsy Dale; one granddaughter Regina Marks, who passed away in 2016; three brothers, Aaron, Jess and Ernest Bradley; and one sister, Cleo Price.

Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 5, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, April 6, with calling one hour prior to the service at McKee Mortuary. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester. Rev. William Whitaker will officiate.
