
MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library will be closed Sunday, April 1 in observance of Easter.
Join us for Story Hour at 3 p.m every Wednesday. and at 10 a.m. every Friday. Children listen to a story, sing songs and make a craft.
For teens and young adults stuck at home during spring break and join the library at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, for a movie day. The library will be showing the new “Jumamji” film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Popcorn and a beverage will be provided.
Movie Monday is at 1 p.m. April 9. The feature film will be “Her Majesty Mrs. Brown.” Popcorn and beverages are provided.
All ages welcome for craft day. Join the library at 11 a.m Saturday, April 14 and make a kite.
Lego Club will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14.
For crafters, creative corner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19. The library will be making bird feeders from recycled plastic bottles. Cost for this class is $5. This will be limited to 20 participants and sign up is required. This class is for adults ages 18 and older only.
Euchre club will be held on Monday, April 23 starting at 6 p.m.
Library board meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are open to the public and the public is encouraged to attend.
The library has a number of Book Buddies Kits available for check out. These kits contain storybooks as well as manipulatives. These are a great way to get the kids involved and interested in reading.
