Eleanor M. Rapsavage, 93, Warsaw, died Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Mason Health Care Center.

She was born on Sunday, June 8, 1924, in Pana, Ill. She was the only daughter of John and Emma (Desatnick) Baga. She grew up on the north end of Pana with her five brothers. She attended Sacred Heart School and she graduated from Pana Township High School. After high school, she worked at a munitions factory near Illiopolis during WWII. Following the war, she worked at the Pana Glove factory, before moving to Warsaw a few years later. It was in Warsaw where she would meet Philip Rapsavage. They were married on Sept. 23, 1950, in Sacred Heart Church in Warsaw where she was a member for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Philip Rapsavage; son, Roger Rapsavage (fiancée, Darlene Burkel); grandson, Ryan (Lindsay) Rapsavage and great-grandson, Raiden Rapsavage, all of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Baga; five brothers: John, Andy, Victor, Gilbert and Michael Baga; daughter, Suzy Rapsavage; and great granddaughter, Lainey Kay Rapsavage.

The family will receive friends at noon, Wednesday, March 28, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Pana. Mass of Christian burial will follow, beginning at one o’clock with Father Rodney Schwartz officiating. Her burial will follow in Pana Township’s Calvary Cemetery.
