Perry E. Yoder, 88, Nappanee, died on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at his residence, after a short illness.

He was born February 15, 1930 in LaGrange to Enos D. and Lydia J. (Raber) Yoder. He was a lifetime area resident. On Feb. 19, 1953 he married Anna Mae Mast in Nappanee. Yoder was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He was retired.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Yoder, Nappanee; daughters, Barbara Ann Yoder, Nappanee, Mary Alice (Glen E.) Helmuth, Etna Green, Susan Kay (John W.) Borkholder, and Frieda Arlene (Jonathon) Borkholder, both of Nappanee; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Lee Yoder; grandchildren, Titus Helmuth, Perry Borkholder, Joseph Borkholder Cynthia Borkholder; a great-granddaughter, Emily Helmuth; parents; six sisters; and three brothers.

Family and friends may call after 2 p.m., Friday, March 23, and all day Saturday, March 24, at the John W. Borkholder residence, 29902 CR 56, Nappanee. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, March 25, also at the John W. Borkholder residence. Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate. Burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.
