WARSAW — In celebration of National Agriculture Week, the Kosciusko County Agriculture Awareness Committee recognized the first baby born on National Ag Day.

Baby Noah was delivered at Kosciusko Community Hospital at 1:19 a.m. on March 20. Baby Noah’s parents, received a gift basket filled with baby toys, books, outfits, baby blankets and other items. The give-away is the kick-off for two additional upcoming events. The Agriculture Awareness Committee hosts Ag Day in April for the area fourth graders and the Taste of Agriculture for the entire community.
All community members are invited and encouraged to attend the Taste of Agriculture at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds. This free event will feature food produced in Kosciusko County and will provide an opportunity to meet farmers that produce and sell these products. Additionally, activities for all ages will be held including a coloring contest, scavenger hunt, and kiddie pedal tractor pull.
