Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

9:44 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, CR 700W, south of CR 100N, Atwood. Driver: Kyla M. Pace, 20, North Camelot Lane East, Cromwell. Pace was driving south on CR 700W when a deer entered the roadway, and her vehicle was unable to avoid striking the deer. Damage up to $10,000.

7:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, South SR 19, north of South CR 600S, Mentone. Driver: Margaret A. Walton, 56, South Franklin Street, Mentone. Walton’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a steel post. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

1:39 p.m. Thursday, March 15, East US 30, near North Parker Street. Drivers: Linda D. Bruss, 51, Pimlico Drive, Warsaw, and Leslie S. Plumlee, 56, East Saint Andrews Road South, Winona Lake. Truss ws driving west on Lake City Highway when she looked down. When she looked up, Plumlee’s vehicle was stopped in traffic in front of her. Bruss’ vehicle rear-ended Plumlee’s vehicle. Bruss was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for complaint of pain to her left and right wrists and her left knee. Damage up to $10,000.
