Silver Lake

Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:

8:22 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, South SR 15, north of West CR 1300S. Driver: Aaron J. Lewis, 19, South SR 25, Warsaw. Lewis was driving south on SR 15 when he approached a truck that was off the road in a ditch. When Lewis attempted to slow down, he lost control of his vehicle. Lewis’ vehicle went off the roadway and slid into a tree. Damage up to $10,000.

6:49 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, West SR 14, west of South CR 100W. Driver: Marisol Vera, 31, East Wooster Road Lot 28, Pierceton. Vera was traveling east on SR 14 when she lost control of her vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

2:27 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, Jefferson Street, east of Lake Street. Drivers: Nathaniel T. McFarland, 19, Robin Drive, Warsaw, and Esther C. Morrison, 77, Brookview Drive, Warsaw. McFarland was exiting a parking lot, but had limited visibility due to a trash dumper. As McFarland’s vehicle pulled forward onto Jefferson Street, he struck Morrison’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
