Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:47 a.m. Thursday, March 8, East CR 1300N, west of Kern Road. Drivers: Joseph R. Le Count, 18, North CR 400W, Milford, and Luchas D. Schoonover, 17, Turkey Creek Drive, Milford. Schoonover’s vehicle was stopped for a school bus when Le Count’s vehicle rear-ended him. Damage up to $1,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:28 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2169 North Detroit Street. Drivers: Tiana R. Slone, 24, East Pine Drive, Warsaw, and Michelle M. Goble, 39, West CR 100S, Warsaw. Slone was backing out of a parking space and started to turn when Goble’s vehicle drove around a corner in the parking lot and struck Slone’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

6:20 a.m. Friday, March 9, Pierceton Road, near Mile Marker #2071. Driver: David L. Jackson, 57, South CR 600W, Silver Lake. Jackson was driving east when a deer entered his vehicle’s path. Jackson’s vehicle struck the deer. Damage up to $2,500.
