John Aaron Morlock, Jr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in the Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac with his loving mother by his side.

Mr. Morlock was born on May 19, 1961, Plymouth, to John A. Sr. and Christina (Joseph) Morlock. He was a former special student with Marshall-Starke Development workshop. He also worked at the Peak Community Services, for a small shelter workshop in Winamac and a larger shelter workshop in Logansport. His greatest joy was spending time with his brother, Tim on the farm. He enjoyed tractors and his garden wagon. He didn’t know a stranger, he loved to talk to people and everyone loved him as well. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all his family and friends.

Those left to cherish Johnnie Morlock’s memory are his mother, Christina Morlock of Plymouth; his brother, Timothy and Linda Morlock of Plymouth. He was preceded in passing by his father, John A. Morlock, Sr.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Morlock family.

A funeral service for Johnnie Morlock will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street Plymouth, IN 46563 with Pastor Marsha Wainscott and Pastor Phillip Joseph officiating. Burial will follow the service in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.

A time of visiting with the Morlock family will also be held from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in the Van Gilder Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
