Allen D. Keller, 82, Argos passed away peacefully on Friday, March 2, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Keller was born on May 15,1935, in Plymouth, to Cyril and Wanda (Hayes-Haddock) Keller. A lifelong resident of Marshall County, he worked for Holland’s Hardware in Argos, United Tech in Bourbon and Ritz Craft. Allen honorably served his country in the United States Army National Guard. On May 18, 1956, he married the former Vonetta “Bonnie” Andrews. She precedes him in passing on Aug. 25, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Roger and Terry Keller of Argos; his grandchildren: Becky Miller, Bryan Keller, Ben Keller, Aric Shufelt, Amy (Ken) Rose, Miranda (Chris) Singleton, and Eric (Kimberly) Gildner; his great-grandchildren: Ashton and Braden Miller, Braxton Keller, Kody, Kyle and Wade Rose, Sklyer and Chase Singleton; his sister, Martha Schafer; Keller is preceded in passing by his parents and his wife Vonetta “Bonnie” Keller, his brother, Lloyd Keller and sister, Cynthia Krou.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Keller family. A funeral service for Allen will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street Plymouth, IN 46563. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Argos.

A time of visiting with the Keller family will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, March 6,in the Van Gilder Funeral Home.

The Keller family requests memorial contributions be made to the Donor’s Choice.
